Dec 18 | Creative Tutors Featured in Dallas Business Journal

Creative Tutors was recently featured in the Dallas Business Journal.  Jan Van Blarcum, Founder of Creative Tutors, "knows firsthand the challenges that come when you have a learning difference. In elementary school, she was diagnosed with dyslexia. Because she moved with her military family to various countries, learning resources often were limited. When her family didn’t have access to tutors, Van Blarcum relied on her mother to help her learn.

When Van Blarcum started to see similar academic challenges with her own daughter, she did something about it. She established the basis for Creative Tutors and began telling other parents about the business idea.

Despite confidence in her business plan, Van Blarcum was still surprised by the response. Her first year in business, she had 150 students and about 35 tutors." Read the complete article ->
